Standen Associates are a local company of Chartered Building Surveyors based in Hastings and St Leonards.

We undertake a wide range of general building surveying work including defect investigation, condition reports and expert witness reports.

We also organise building works from inception to completion, particularly repair and maintenance contracts, alterations, conversions, extensions and new build. This includes preparing and submitting planning applications, obtaining Building Regulation approval, preparing specifications, obtaining tenders, montioring the works and cost control.

Nick Standen has over 35 years experience in the surveying and architectural industry. Initially trained as an architectural technician Nick qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1987.

Standen Associates was formed in January 1991 and has a broad base of residential and commercial clients.
